#Gun's origins can be traced back to 1983 when school friends McCormack and Giuliano Gizzi formed a band called The Electric. Joined by bassist Fergus Martin and drummer Scott Currie, they began playing local pubs and clubs, honing their sound and building a loyal following. In 1987, they signed with A&M Records and officially adopted the name #Gun.
